Chemical warehousing
The storage of environmentally hazardous goods takes place in our chemical warehouse . This warehouse consists of six separate compartments. These separate compartments make it possible to store hazardous substances from various hazard classes in one warehouse.
The concrete partitions, liquid-tight floors, fire-resistant doors, smoke detectors and qualified personnel guarantee optimum safety for the product, people and the environment. The total surface area of our PGS 15 warehouse is 7,000 m².
The narrow aisle storage, combined with an outlet height of 10 m, ensures that we have access to 10,000 pallet places. These pallet places are suitable for a wide range of environmentally hazardous goods, such as propellant spray cans, aggressive cleaning agents, industrial printing inks or paints.
Chemical warehouse precautions
The chemical warehouse in Storage Benthuizen BV is equipped with an automated HI-EX inside and outside air foam installation. With this system, calamities can be brought under control quickly and efficiently. The foam contains only two percent water; collateral damage to goods caused by fire extinguishing water is limited to a minimum.
